Everybody’s traits are different because it depends on what they are going through in life. Dora Williams is a widow, and because of what she is going through in life she is very sneaky, delicate, and experienced.
Dora Williams is very sneaky and because she marries a guy “Whose father just died and left him a fortune” (Masters 71 Dora Williams line 3). She marries him while he is drunk and becomes wealthy. “My life was wretched” (page 71 line 4) a year passes by and all of a sudden he is found dead. The same thing happens with “A gray-haired magnate” (71 line 8) except he dies one night right in Dora William’s arms. Two deaths of two extremely rich and important people happen to die a year after they marry Dora Williams. So now she is young, wealthy, insidious, and she knows how to handle the money that is passed down to her.
However, she is very delicate because she is going through very miserable times in her life. Dora runs away from home because her heart is broken by Reuben Pantier who never really loves her. “When Reuben Pantier ran away and threw me I went to Springfield” (71 lines 1 and 2) all Dora is doing is keeping quiet. She marries those men because they are rich but she was miserable with them. All she wants is to be free she wants to rode the world and not be tied back by anyone. Even though people are being unfair with her, Dora is a very forgiving person she does not hold grudges against people she has a nice and soft personality. Dora is poisoned by one of her husband, Count Navigato, but even though he poisons her she did not go and haunt him for all his life like how Mrs. McGee did to Mr. McGee. No, why would Dora waist her time haunting her husband when she was finally free?
I wed Count Navigato, native of Genoa.
We went to Rome. He poisoned me, I think.

Additionally Dora is very experienced; she knows how to handle the stuff in her life. When her rich husbands die she did not need anyone to tell her what to do with the money she was perfectly capable to handle it on her own. Dora is an independent woman she does not get lost in the darkness and goes looking for help she get out of there all by herself. She started learning how to speak many different languages.

Became a center for all sorts of people
Musicians, poets, dandies, artists, nobles,
Where we spoke French and German, Italian, English. (71 lines 15-18)
Dora Williams is sneaky, delicate, and experienced because of the hard things going through her life. Many people have their traits a certain way because of what they have been through in their life good or bad but what makes them different is the way they decide to deal with it.
